Hot off the press from The Wall Street Journal comes a press release and statement from Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) Assistant General Counsel, John Murphy. He noted that PhRMA member companies“ submitted their data in a manner consistent with the reporting rules outlined by the agency,” and he publicly asks the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide additional transparency around the decision to remove the transactions from public review at the "last minute.” Read the full article here.
Tim Robinson, Esq., MMIS Chief Knowledge Officer, and his team have been reviewing and analyzing data, and recently submitted 8 scenarios to the CMS help desk asking for clarification on the data matching algorithm that caused so many transactions to be removed.
